It encompasses a range of professional fields related to preventing the spread of acute and chronic diseases in healthcare institutions and among the population; promoting healthy lifestyles; developing and implementing epidemic- and pandemic-control measures as part of infectious disease prevention; applying modern methods of disease diagnosis and treatment; addressing key challenges in restoring patients’ health through the extensive use of national protocols and evidence-based medicine; effectively using digital technologies, including electronic health records and telemedicine; and carrying out medical and social tasks in primary healthcare.

Pharmacy (by specialty) is a bachelor’s degree program in the field of Healthcare that prepares specialists to provide pharmaceutical care to the public, identify and meet consumer demand for safe, effective, and high-quality medicines, medical devices, equipment, and other pharmaceutical products authorized for sale through pharmacy organizations. The program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to organize and manage pharmaceutical organizations and their workforce, conduct retail and wholesale distribution of medicines and medical devices, organize the storage of pharmaceutical products in accordance with regulatory requirements, maintain accounting, statistical, and inventory records in pharmacy practice, analyze and plan the key economic indicators of pharmacy operations, prepare medicines and other pharmaceutical products in pharmacy settings, and ensure the proper packaging, labeling, and storage of pharmaceutical and medical products.

The program also includes the production of pharmaceutical preparations in manufacturing facilities; isolation of toxic, narcotic, psychotropic, and potent substances and their metabolites from biological samples and body fluids; qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical products, food products, beverages, and other substances; interpretation of laboratory findings; biological quality control of medicines; preclinical pharmacological and toxicological studies; organization of safe and effective pharmacotherapy; planning and conducting clinical trials of medicinal products; and developing competencies necessary for regulating and controlling the circulation of potent, psychotropic, and narcotic medicines in accordance with legal and professional standards.

Dentistry is a bachelor’s degree program in the field of science and healthcare. It focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases using modern methods, addressing patients’ healthcare needs, providing dental care and follow-up services, improving the quality of preventive, medical, and social healthcare activities, participating in research projects within scientific institutions and research centers, and performing comprehensive professional duties in public and private healthcare organizations.

As science, engineering, and technology continue to advance and employer requirements evolve, the scope of professional activities may be expanded or modified.

Objects of professional activity for graduates of the Dentistry program:

Graduates of the Dentistry program who have completed pedagogical retraining may engage in teaching general professional and specialized subjects in vocational and professional educational institutions.

Pediatrics is a bachelor’s degree program in the field of healthcare that prepares specialists to work in healthcare institutions, promote healthy lifestyles among the population, prevent the occurrence and spread of acute and chronic diseases, develop and implement measures against epidemics and pandemics, diagnose and treat diseases using modern medical methods, national clinical guidelines, and evidence-based medicine, effectively utilize digital healthcare technologies including electronic medical records and telemedicine, and address complex medical and social challenges at the primary healthcare level.

This program belongs to the field of education “Business, Management and Law” and covers business entities across sectors and industries operating under various forms of ownership; financial, credit and insurance institutions; central and local government authorities; academic, sectoral and research organizations; as well as the economic, financial, marketing, production and economic, and analytical services of preschool, general secondary, specialized secondary and higher education institutions. It encompasses a range of complex issues related to the means, approaches, methods and techniques of human activity aimed at developing industries and enterprises, determining their future prospects, and building professional skills and managerial capabilities.

Mukhammedov Khojiakbar

Mukhammedov Khojiakbar enrolled in the Faculty of Dentistry at EMU University in 2021. From the very beginning of his academic journey, he actively participated in both his studies and student life. Thanks to his leadership skills and dedication, he became one of the student leaders at the university. Starting from his first year, he gained hands-on clinical experience through internships at dental clinics, allowing him to develop strong practical skills alongside his academic education. During his studies, he won several national dentistry Olympiads and was awarded a 100% tuition scholarship for one semester in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements. After successfully graduating from EMU University, he began his professional career at a private dental clinic, where he continues to grow as a skilled dental professional.

Axtamova Malika

Axtamova Malika studied at the Faculty of Dentistry at EMU University and maintained excellent academic performance throughout her studies. Her dedication, strong academic record, and commitment to learning made her one of the university’s outstanding students. During her education, she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship and became the winner of several national and international academic Olympiads. In recognition of her exceptional achievements and academic excellence, she received a full scholarship for the first semester of her Master’s degree.
