The Foreign Language and Literature course provides students with a deep understanding of foreign languages, literary works, and cultural aspects. During their studies, students acquire skills in translation, literary analysis and intercultural communication, which shape their cultural wealth and linguistic experience. Graduates of the Foreign Language and Literature major can become foreign language teachers, translators, literary critics, editors, and even diplomats. They can also pursue careers in international companies, tourism, journalism and international relations, where their knowledge of foreign languages and cultures will be important. Knowing a foreign language helps develop global thinking and understand different points of view. This is especially important in today's era of globalization. At the same time, many foreign companies value employees who speak several languages.
