The branch of Astrakhan State Technical University in the Tashkent region was established in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 6, 2018, No. PQ-3657 "On additional measures for the development of the fish farming industry", the Resolution dated November 3, 2018, No. PQ-3997 "On measures for further expansion of bilateral strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 19, 2019, No. 608 "On the organization of the activities of the branch of Astrakhan State Technical University in the Tashkent region".

The main objective of the branch is to train highly qualified specialists for the development of the fisheries sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The training is conducted based on the educational programs adopted at Astrakhan State Technical University and in accordance with internationally recognized requirements for the quality of higher education, as well as the goals and objectives of the National Program for Personnel Training of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The branch is a separate structural subdivision of Astrakhan State Technical University and a higher education institution that trains specialists at all levels, including academic and teaching staff. The activities of the branch are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

High-Quality Russian Education in Uzbekistan — My Experience at AGTU My name is Sayora, and I am a graduate of the “Economics” program at the Astrakhan State Technical University (Tashkent region branch). Choosing this university became a defining step in my career. Studying under Russian educational standards, combined with an understanding of the local market, provides a unique advantage. What I gained: In-depth knowledge in macroeconomics and microeconomics, financial analysis, and international management. Faculty: I would like to express my gratitude to both our local instructors and the professors from Astrakhan for their high standards and modern approach to teaching. AGTU is not just about lectures; it is about developing analytical thinking. I recommend this university to everyone who wants to earn a diploma recognized internationally and become a competitive specialist in the field of economics.

In 2020, I was admitted on a state grant basis to the Tashkent region branch of Astrakhan State Technical University. From the very first day I stepped into this institution, I set high goals for myself, and during four years of study I not only gained solid knowledge, but also developed as an individual. The modern conditions created at the university, the profound knowledge and experience of highly qualified professors and instructors, as well as the opportunities to participate in scientific and practical projects, further enhanced my intellectual potential. In particular, the attention and support of the university administration, along with the encouragement of student initiatives, gave me great strength and confidence. I deeply realize that behind each of my achievements stands the dedicated work of my mentors and the constant support of the university leadership. One of my most significant achievements during my studies was becoming a recipient of the Beruni State Scholarship. This high recognition was a достой evaluation of my scientific research and academic performance. This success inspired me to strive for even greater accomplishments. As a result of my continuous self-improvement, strong interest in scientific activity, and the recommendations of my mentors, I was also admitted to a master’s program on a state grant basis. I consider this a clear outcome of the solid scientific foundation and supportive environment created at the university. Looking back today, I can proudly say that my student years were not only a time of gaining knowledge, but also a school of life experience, perseverance, and striving toward my goals. The trust and continuous support of the university administration and my mentors have created a strong foundation for my future scientific and professional achievements.

During my years as a student, I also achieved a number of accomplishments. In 2023, although I was admitted with relatively low entry scores, this gave me even stronger motivation to explore more and work on myself. Several times, I earned top places in regional chess competitions. In 2024, I was awarded the nomination of “Most Active Student-Athlete of the Year” at the branch. My greatest achievement was receiving the prestigious Islam Karimov scholarship in 2026. This result was the outcome of my research, aspirations, and hard work. In particular, the university leadership’s constant attention and care for students, as well as their support for initiatives and ambitions, gave me great motivation and confidence. I deeply understand that behind every success of mine lies the patience, devoted effort, and sincere guidance of my instructors. Their trust and support encouraged me to aim for even higher goals. Therefore, I consider my achievements to be the result not only of my personal efforts but also of the wide opportunities created at our university, the healthy competitive environment, and the constant support of my mentors. This institution has given me not only knowledge but also determination, responsibility, and a sense of confidence in the future. In conclusion, the university has given me not only deep knowledge but also valuable life experience, determination, and confidence. The achievements I have gained serve as a solid foundation for taking bold steps toward my future major goals.

I, Shomuratova Mehrangiz Shoislam qizi, am studying in the 4th year at the branch of Astrakhan State Technical University. I am very happy that I enrolled in this university because during the years of study I have gained a lot of useful knowledge, met new interesting people, and acquired a good environment. Our university employs highly qualified teachers who teach their subjects clearly and effectively. Thanks to their support, knowledge, and attention to students, I have been able to achieve high results in my studies. In 2025, I became a laureate of the Beruniy Scholarship, and in 2026, I became a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. These achievements have been a great honor for me and a motivation to move forward.
