Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies
Technological machinery and equipment
About the programme
“Technological Machines and Equipment” is a bachelor’s degree program focused on the design, operation, maintenance, and improvement of machines and equipment used in industry. Students study the fundamentals of mechanics, materials science, engineering drawing, and automation of technological processes, as well as the operating principles of various types of industrial equipment (such as machine tools, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other machines). A major emphasis is placed on optimizing production processes, improving equipment reliability, and reducing maintenance costs.
This field may be of interest to those who enjoy engineering, mechanics, and design, and who want to work in the real sector of the economy — at factories, manufacturing companies, and service or engineering organizations. It is suitable for people who like understanding how mechanisms work, repairing and improving equipment, and who see themselves in the future as design engineers, mechanical engineers, maintenance specialists, or technical managers in industry.
